If…Dawgs limit key Injuries.
If…Bobo actually watches and learns from the Ole Miss regular season game from last season on October 18th.
If…Bobo gets a little more creative and aggressive with his game plan.
If…Dawgs can produce a consistent and effective pass rush without bringing the whole house.
I agree. They must not be paying the people much. Give me 500/article and some access to ask questions of players, etc. and I will have 2 great articles a week that are in depth stories on players, coaches, etc. You can get more interesting conversation just reading the recent blog thread. I could put out a better tv segment 2 than much of the material being put on the net. Sometimes it feels like they are mailing it in. He is lucky to have his job, must know the right people.
If the OL were to live up to it's lofty expectations it would make Bobo's job a lot easier. Gunner did leave the pocket too early on a lot of plays, and I do hope he learns to use his pocket to his advantage, learn to step up in the pocket to deliver throws over the middle. The OL has to provide said pocket consistently, and not whiff so much as to give Gunner happy feet. Searels being left back at his cubicle will surely help that situation.
He's an intern and you guys can always delete your accounts and go elsewhere for info instead of criticizing. I'm sure ya'll have always been proficient and perfect in your work.
Been very impressed with Hunters creativity to date. This piece does fall into the typical DN work style which is repeating whatever ESPN/CBS has said recently. First time I think from Hunter. Give him a break. Hope it's not a bad habit picked up or a trend!!
Apologies, Hunter. You've got a great opportunity to write about a great subject. I wrote for the R&B and the old Athens Observer when I was in Athens eons ago. Great fun.

If they (young receivers) can all remain healthy, I’m convinced that one or more will emerge as better than good, maybe even elite. There’s plenty of talent in that room, the odds of one or more emerging as an elite pass-catcher are much greater when all are healthy and getting meaningful reps.

news flash: Bobo’s job IS to make sure the OL plays up to its lofty expectations.
The weapons on Offense are there in my humble opinion. Just up to Coach Bobo to put them in the optimum plays to succeed. That’s not saying he can’t do that. I believe he can.
What I’d love to see is more attack mode. And that comes with risks. There’s been countless comments about the deep pass and I fully agree. Need to go for those much more. But we must also realize that type pass comes with a higher risk for an INT. Even the greatest QBs will throw INTs on occasion when attempting the deep pass. BUT the reward is worth the risk.
Gets us closer to the end zone. Maybe even a TD on that single play. And it keeps the rival defense from crowding the Los. Yall know all of this stuff better than me. But in my view we need to be relentless in staying with it Even if it results in a pick six on occasion. And not knocking CMB but will he abandon it the first time Gunner throws an INT ? And I wonder will Some Dawgs fans attack Gunner if he throws a pick six on a deep pass attempt ? If so it needs to be based on was it a bad pass or great defense from the rival defense ? We’ve all seen times where a QB throws a spot on beautiful pass But a great play by a defender gives a pick six. It happens.
But don’t abandon the attempts ! I’m not saying every pass or even every other pass. But if a pick six happens keep getting after that deep pass. As long as Gunner makes much more TDs than INTs I can’t complain. And as long as the majority of his passes are good passes I can’t complain. Just Be Aggressive !! Play Attack football.
Even if we’re up by a good score keep attacking !! There Will be some fails from time to time that’s football, but keep attacking !! Play to Win not to keep from losing. Yall know what I mean ! Go Dawgs !!

I noticed that you were able to avoid the "Down-Vote Bandit" by posting your comment after his bedtime LOL! I was not so fortunate.
