Simpson was good against us when we started off in prevent defense with our DB's playing 7 yards off the receivers and no blitzes. We changed later in the game and from that point on and even into the next game he never looked the same. Even the late game TD pass should have been an interception but our 2 defenders bungled the play.
Matthew should hang it up. He has accomplished what he can. One bad hit and he could be crippled for life with that bad back.
And he made Todd M look like a genius lol
I don’t think Bennett was mentally ready for the pros right after Georgia. Something was going on that he needed to work out. The Rams gave him some time and stuck with him, and I think it’s going to pay off - Big.
We are going to see the College Championship Stetson Bennett, again, on the pro level, and he’s going to be fun to watch.
