Oklahoma has got a decent defense but that is about it. They are lost on offense thus far. We should stomp those guys at home.
Sumrall and Philo at QB did a very good job against Auburn and are now 3-0. Good to see those guys be competitive again, so we can stomp on them at Mercedes Benz this season!!
Gotta love KY and what Will Stein is doing so far in Lexington. We don't play them this season, thank gosh! I kinda think they might deserve a Top 25 ranking…and will soon enough if they keep winning.
Three observations from yesterday to note heading into the OU game. 1. Refreshing to see fast starts so far this season, need to continue that
2. Great to see the emphasis on interior DL (Tray Scott running his guys through “Indy Drills” during a timeout Saturday)
3. Hasn’t affected the outcome yet, but OL pass-pro has plenty to work on
Agreed. OL is my biggest concern at this point. These guys are going to have to step up their game this week against Oklahoma. We can’t have Gunner back there running for his life and having to tuck and run the ball. We are really going to need to be able to open up the passing game going forward. I’m sure there is going to be great emphasis this week on pass protection. Go Dawgs!

My father-in-law, who is an OU alumnus, is already embracing the underdog role and asking for mercy. C'mon Dawgs, don't fall for that "OU is among the weak sisters of the poor" line. That is total garbage. They will be a tough opponent.

That LSU vs A&M game should be interesting. Must win game for both teams, otherwise start dreaming of the Pop Tarts Bowl. Ole Miss and Texas need to be wary too going on the road. Both places are tough venues to play in. I'll go out on a limb and say the Vols keep Texas sweating for 3 quarters. I have no feel for Florida vs Ole Miss. Chambliss is just too good so that game for Georgia scares me more than Bama.

UGA's "5* millionaires" are all at LB. UGA's DL are apace eaters not passrushers.
Pass rush has been and still is the biggest concern for me. It hasn’t mattered against weaker opponents, but it will against good teams with good QBs especially late in games. Unfortunately, pass rushing isn’t really something that can be coached, either a guy has the innate ability or he doesn’t. Scheme (blitzing) can help or it can be exploited by a good QB and OC. I still hoping some of the young guys can grow into more of a pass rushing role.
