- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Any Veterans out There’s?

AndersonDawgAndersonDawg Posts: 1,881 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

I am a 71 year old Vietnam Veteran. I was in the 45 Engineer Group of the 18th Engineer Brigade (Army). In my picture (clowning around with my buds) I am the tall guy in the middle. I was in Phu Bai, South Vietnam from September 1968 - November 1969. Any other veterans out there?

722nd Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Company (22 years) (retired). Spent a day or two in Iraq. Went to Vietnam on MIA remains recovery missions in the 90s. I totally agree with WVdawg, your generation made us what we are today.

Retired Marines. Was stationed in Athens at the Navy School Marine Detachment from 2003- 2007. My favorite duty station by far. So sad they closed the base recently.
