When Georgia needed it the most, Mark Foxx would always come up short.

The 2018 Sec Tournament will be remembered as the last for Mark Foxx .What will be also remembered is this .For all the talk and fanfare about the former Nevada head coach as the up and coming superstar in waiting coach .Uga certainly did not get anything back on it's investment in the end .If a coaching career could be summed up in three games in a sec tournament ,it would be the last three of Foxx's tenure at Georgia .The hype and fanfare of being hired with the vandy game ,the fools gold win over the home team missouri which could be represented by his 2011 team that made the ncaa tournament and the kentucky loss today and the reality that Fox had misused his talented teams of the past three years with Georgia basketballs 2nd greatest player in team history spoiling like sour cream outside in the sun.Still their is hope but to say that hope is alone is foolhardy .Uga still cannot bring in the talent that can put it over the top .Or at least that is what those who look down on the basketball program say . You want to win get Tad Matta in here now and see what happens ?

How do you propose to get Thad Motta to UGA? He's paid quite handsomely already. He's not a spring chicken anymore. Why would he want to take on a major rebuilding job when he can make the tournament just about every year where he currently resides? Is UGA prepared to give him a significant raise in salary?

The next head coach will make 3 million dollars or more according to Chip Towers .

Whatever he is owed from his former school will offset what UGA pays him. UGA needs to get serious and hire a proven guy.

    Hire Bobby Hurley!

He’s a really, really good coach.
