Referee Bart Lenox making some really questionable calls in this game.
Georgia's got to figure out an answer for Jordan Bone, who's now made four 3s, and is single-handedly keeping Tennessee in this.
Frazier has been out for a few minutes. He's looked tired at times, or perhaps just frustrated, as he only has nine points. Well he's checking back in with 7:01 left, and I suspect he won't be coming out.
Georgia clinging to a one-point lead, its season on the line.
Ogbeide picks up his fourth foul with 6:48 left. Fox signals down the bench for Maten.
Frazier trying really hard to put the team on his shoulders now.
Hey, another tense ending coming to a Georgia basketball game.
Both fan bases upset with the officials here. Tennessee perhaps a little more. Or maybe they're just louder because there's way more of them here.
Meanwhile, a big steal at midcourt and dunk by Juwan Parker to make it 55-52 with just over four minutes left.
PAGING JJ: URGENT, PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE
Georgia looked poised to get breathing room, had a three-point lead and the ball. But after Maten missed a 3, Juwan Parker called for a foul going for the rebound, leading to free throws and a one-point game again.
Critical sequence there; Frazier attacks the basket and is fouled, hits both free throws.
Then Georgia with strong defense on the other head, and a brain cramp play by UT's Jordan Bone. Frazer blocked the top of the ball on a Bone short shot, then Bone touched the ball as he stepped on the baseline, apparently confused over what to do.
Still a one-possession game. Frazier still struggling from the field, misses the jump shot, and Tennessee has the ball down three with 38.1 seconds left. Frazier is 4-for-13 from the field.
So a bad break there disguised as a good one for Georgia: As Tennessee's Grant Williams makes a free throw, a foul called underneath, sending Mike Edwards to the line. He's not a good shooter, and missed the first one.
Better scenario there for Georgia would be getting a chance to get the ball to Frazier.
Georgia wins. Barely.
Will take it and move on to one more chance vs KY!
Just back from Georgia's (very relieved) locker room. I'll have a couple stories from there. Here in the meantime was my instant recap:
