Georgia only has three assists all game.
Georgia's season-low for points is 54, against Kansas. It's going to take a strong finish to surpass that.
Well .... 3s by E'Torrion Wilridge and then Pape Diatta make it at least an 11-point game. Meanwhile, still no 3s for J.J. Frazier.
You can't really say Georgia ran into a buzz-saw here. Maybe as far as Kentucky's defense, which was swarming, and kept Georgia's two stars from doing anything meaningful. But the Wildcats haven't exactly poured on the offense either, so with just a bit better offense Georgia could've still been in this.
Shots just didn't fall, on the one hand. But the Bulldogs looked disjointed and frustrated against Kentucky's defense, and couldn't set anything up.
Derek Ogbeide fouls out with 15 rebounds, though just four points.
UGA simply not as good but we're playing very poorly.
E'Torrion Wilridge is a better 3-point shooter than free throw shooter.
Refs have been the 6th man, too.
This is literally true as far as his season stats: Wilridge is 7-for-16 beyond the arc, but 4-for-10 from the line.
Eh, not sure you can blame them much today. Kentucky has been called for more fouls, and Georgia's best offense has been getting to the free throw line.
Georgia has now avoided its lowest-scoring game of the year, but still trails 66-56 with 38.4 seconds left.
Except for a personal two-week stretch by JJ Frazier, this Georgia team has been a huge disappointment from start to finish this season. At the very best, they are a very average basketball team. With the way they played today, Kentucky could easily have been beaten today by a number of middling, bubble teams--but Georgia was down-right bad. Sad to say, but this team isn't going past the 2nd round of the NIT.
Final: Kentucky 71, Georgia 60.
I suspect this means NIT, barring something surprising from the committee.

Wow. Not enough depth on this team.
