Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Many UTjr fans on their forum understand that Washington is likely a Dawg but a handful of Vol “insiders” are confident that we (DawgNation) will be in full meltdown Thursday night. Rationale: DW silent committed to four schools, UTjr offered him first, and all the CBs are from people (with no actual knowledge) guessing.
While I’m convinced (by The @SoFL_Dawg mug) that DW is a Dawg it got me wondering: is Blair Angulo or Demetric or Rusty or Wiltfong privy to some empirical evidence or are they just guessing?
I think it has to be UGA or UTjr because why else would Kirby accuse Niedermeyer of a recruiting violation? Add to that, the bama insiders CB’d to us presumably because they know there has been no bama contact post signing. After eliminating bama and narrowing it down to us or vowels, if it wasn’t us, wouldn’t we have offered some TEs as a position of need? UTjr doesn’t need TEs like we do so they wouldn’t offer others. They’d just double down in 21.
Wouldn’t we also be hearing chatter about Hartley being exited? Forgive him for not getting the Fire-n-Ice combo, but maybe don’t forgive him if he went 0-for.
Additionally, we all know CBs can be wrong, but peep the percentages.
Finally, use the force. What does it tell you?
just watched Arian Smith video winning fastest man -
I know this was discussed somewhere in the 100 pages that was ESD week - but is Arian Smith faster than Mecole was at same age ?
seemed like the debate was if they raced today , but if can’t remember that conclusion either
Mecole was always an incredible athlete, I remember him throwing a football and running fast enough to go catch it. That aside, I couldn’t tell you who’s faster but I can tell you that former 5* Mecole Hardman had more game experience coming into UGA.
Quickness is different than speed and Mecole had both. Not sure who is faster from a football speed standpoint, but Mecole is as fast as any I've seen.
The conclusion was that Arian would beat Mecole today if they raced.
Happy New Year and HBTFD you savages.
Makes this sound like one the dawgs could win if they pushed.
Arian has to be developed so he's an "if" compared to Mecole but he has better size/a bigger frame already.
Mecole played quarterback at least his SR year of HS, so I don’t know if your last statement is necessarily true.
Mecole played QB mostly in highscool....
And 2020 will be the first year Arian focuses on training at WR instead of playing multiple spots.
id say he and mecole incoming are at about the same spot.
Lol, yeah. I meant that Mecole is in the NFL so he panned out whereas Smith remains to be seen but has a better frame coming in.
If I’m not mistaken, didn’t Mecole come in as a DB at Georgia? He then switched to WR and had trouble his first year with drops. Point being, if Arian Smith can learn to run routes and has decent hands he can be special like Mecole.
