Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

So if this isn’t just a visit high I’m gonna be soooo pumped.
He went to LSU and is still there
I think so too. Same area as Beck so is likely a UGA or UF fan so seems strange to include both although it's a relatively new development so may not have ties to either. My guess would be UF due to being only around 75 miles away.
He has visited UGA and staff was on him early on before zeroing in and locking down Sherman and getting involved with West Coast guys.
Thought was him and his team mate (Rivers) were a package deal and with Rivers committing to Miami over uf, thought was he might go there too.
Kid is a good player so i hope he chooses LSU, although i think if his desire is to play OLB he goes uf unfortunately.
Obviously they aced the weekend with the #1 target at RB in Milton. We have mentioned here he’s been #1 the entire cycle and was treated as such. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be but nevertheless our pick remains for Milton to be a Dawg.
There isn’t a lot of “stories to follow here” on Evans. Behind the scenes, staff feels very confident, as do we. There are things we can’t post but our confidence is very high here. The #1 target in Milton will likely announce before August. The #2 target in Evans we expect to go into the season regardless if you hear an announcement to bama in summer. Again, our pick here is that Evans will too choose UGA. For the record, this will be the third year in a row, portions of the fan base has questioned staff. Those that do should probably chill going forward.
OL-too much to type but Pittman is literally picking his choices. There was surprising news that came up this weekend with a target that had moved on from UGA that spoke with staff this weekend but ultimately we think it’s too late and there’s 1 spot left and my pick is on SVP based on forecasted need. It’s important to note that Clay Webb is not being groomed to play center currently to better understand reasoning here and why SVP is a priority. Raym visit again hit a home run. This will be Pittmans choice and we don’t know who it’ll be. If 2 spots, add both Raym and SVP to class.
I Have to eat some crow here on Trenton Simpson. This decision wasn’t exactly him telling staff no. He was slow played and I’ll leave it at that, so apparently we had that board shuffle wrong. We now project Sewell to be the front runner to the position.
WR appears set and will be full by season’s start. We expect both Rosemy and Henning to complete class. Henning has the blessing of Kirby himself and Kirby loves the kid. An announcement on Rosemy pushed back from this weekend in chatter but when he does decide, we like the Dawgs for pick. That decision still feels imminent.
DL-no new news. A certain commit went back to AU this week, not a surprise. I’d expect it has to be officially over now. The number is 5. With Burch it is a blind faith situation we don’t have an update. We were told Dexter would visit in July for an unofficial. Let’s see if he makes that trip. We’re unsure what that changes if he wants in but something to watch as it’s early.
TE-shares this weekend Gilbert is the priority in state talent, but the board is even. We don’t think spots are being held here. First two to decide situation with Washington already announcing he’s going into the season, possibly ESD. OV is ND game and staff is working on getting him to campus prior. FTR, we still project Gilbert in class along with Theo Johnson. I think both will pop before Washington.
DB-Evals for 3rd DB continues but Avantae Williams remains our choice here. He is a replacement for LeCounte and it’s easy to see how staff is operating at this point.
Waiting on that @SoFL_Dawg intel drop like
Edit: You have got to be kidding me I was one minute late
Mods please move my comment above SoFl so I don't look like a complete and total ass
As always thanks for the massive update! Great to hear things going in a great direction basically everywhere! I dread the day we have to talk about an assistant moving on to bigger and new better things. I’ve only been following recruiting heavily for 3 years but man do we have an outstanding staff!!!!
I have SVP to OU. The 5th lineman would be (in order) Rogers, Johnson, Raym
I thought Rogers was basically off the table due to DL aspirations he has
@SoFL_Dawg As always, thanks very much for the thorough and robust reporting. I'm not as sophisticated as many in dissecting recruiting news but for my money, you're doing amazing work. I, along with many other, appreciate your time and efforts in keeping us in the loop.
