Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

As long as its not the coach from Varsity Blues (Bud Kilmer/Jon Voight), you're good. I spent 4 years in TX for college, although it was at Trinity University and there was not much of a football program there at the time.
I now read @texdawg comments in Sam Elliott's voice...thanks for that.
Champy's from Grub hub hopefully
Now I really wanna meet this guy lol
This was supposed to be the quote sorry.

texdawg you say"We need our heir apparent center" Don't you think either Warren Ericson or Clay Webb is the heir apparent?
Is there behind the scenes traction with Flowe that I haven't heard about on here?
I’m not sure Ericsson has enough class separation and Clay Webb is a guard right now. I think he has a long way to go before he’s a center.
Ericsson is a really good player. He’ll be 1 play away from action in 19. A scenario staff has to prepare for is the possibility of Ericsson looking for playing time elsewhere especially if opportunities are limited in 19. Also consider that the C position is rarely a day 1 draft pick so many of these guys stay 4 years. @umooner pointed out the lack of class separation even with a RS. Webb is not currently being cross trained or groomed for C. He’s focusing on G. SVP has remained the most important OL since landing our bookend tackles.
He's our next DAWG to go public imo. Or Van Pran then Smith. ABSOLUTE weapon with the ability to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.
It was mentioned a few pages back about Otis and his ability to cover. As far as run support, I don't think anyone could ask for a better safety. But imo 1st, and foremost Cine is an absolute ANIMAL that can cover, and come up & knock snot bubbles out of people's noses! He's imo a future 1st rounder. But like with Thomas Davis, he was a huge safety and ended up moving to LB n the league. I think the same happens with Otis unless his technique improves tremendously.
N idc what anybody says, Ringo is ALREADY a DAWG🐶💯.
@SoFL_Dawg any news on flipping Dexter?
They’re working on it
That was @SoFL_Dawg. I leave it to him to know who our heir apparent center is. I honestly don't know who any of these guys are until they start playing at UGA. I'm as dependent on his info as everyone else.
But I do believe that Webb is a guard if he puts on more weight.
UGA, Miami, Tenn and Bama
I thought that the story on Webb was that he was considered to be a great potential Center but that wasn't necessarily what HE wanted to do. Centers don't usually get drafted as highly as Gs.
Yup, Clay Webb was rated a 5 * center but stated he wanted to be a guard first before becoming a center to learn the system etc.
Wait? Dexter JUST NOW got an offer? It says it has a date of today. Is that true? I thought he just tweeted his recruitment was shut down?
seems like a massive 180 to tweet out a UGA offer in a big bold picture dressed as a Dawg right after you said your recruitment is shut down and is all gator.
very interesting.
This is a current post, but is this a recent offer? If so, how could there be so much talk so many months about him and only now an offer?
FYI, Dexter posted the UGA offer, then TN , then FU. In doing so, FU shows first on his page. None are pinned. To answer my question ^^, my guess he got these offers some time ago. But, ????
My understanding is that colleges can give verbal scholarship offers whenever, that's what most players mean when they say they've been offered. They cant send written scholarship offers until right before their senior years. It was August 1st last year, not sure the exact day this year. He is probably just received his written ones and sending a select few out.
