Hue Jackson . Really?

Check out the story. Imagine if coaches started forcing kids to play every single play after getting caught with marijuana. I doubt the message would come across as punishment.

"Jackson said Sunday he was pleased with Callaway's reaction to having to play most of Thursday's game."

Saw it happen on other teams I've covered ... not saying it's right or wrong, but coaches have to get creative sometimes to motivate/get through to 18-21 year old kids... many of us remember how smart we THOUGHT we were back then and how there was a tendency to challenge authority, right?

It is creative, but I don't know how it punishes him or helps the team. If you push a player too hard and deny rest until he drops over with a **** or other ailment--your coaching career is probably over. If the player loafs during practice because he is tired, he gets nothing out of it and the team still loses.
