Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

His dad was a FB coach of some repute and I think Chip was coached by him in like Pop Warner or something. He did mention it in one of his shows. I think he has studied FB closely via his dad and probably knows a good bit more than some think he does.
Having to write about, I'd like to believe that. I'm not bashing the guy, just sick of seeing mistaken names and stuff of that sort. I mean Bacarri is helping us coach now, but how can the picture on the article of a topic name a guy that coaches for us when a sophomore was who he was thinking of? It is is SO many articles.. That's just a lazy error. Going over that once after writing it would have prevented it. I know my boss wants me to be thorough and do things correctly. Is this any different?
And it seems to happen a LOT. Not only on Chip's articles. I wonder if they hire proofreaders...if they do, they need to be better at it. I mean, it's not all that hard. Even the state department is working on making their writing better as far as the use of commas goes. If Washington can do it, I know Dawg Nation can.
Non Dawgnation related: I’ve never really liked Stewart Mandel. Used to write for SI.com and now I think for the Athletic. Has never really given the Dawgs much respect and had an infamous comment some years back where he said that UGA wasn’t a household name because a random guy in Montana wouldn’t recognize the logo/gear.
Believe I read that also about his dad
I'm pretty sure they do NOT have dedicated proofreaders. When the journalism business started dying editors and support staff were the first to go. To be fair it goes way beyond Dawgnation: I read articles from national publications with lots of mistakes..It also doesn't help that every reporter of every genre feels the need to get stories up ASAP.
William Shakespear, to many thou's. I know BA wants to write but it's not his strength.
I see it all the time now...whether it's a major paper, a local paper, or blogs. And you're right about proofreaders etc. They were the first to go.
I often joked after writing that I needed a profreader.
Not a fan of Karl Marx or the US Tax code.
Off topic but how bout Colquitt county giving it to Greyson IN Loganville!? Probst is a **** good football coach. That defensive tackle for CC Merrit is reaking havoc against a massive O line for high school standards. 4 of 5 guys on that Oline have power 5 offers. Haven't heard or seen much out of Pappoe. The Packers are very very physical and play assignment football. Nyquan Washington is a junior 5'10 corner with some D1 offers and he's shut down the 6'5 stud receiver for the Rams. Several deflections and a pick. 26-14 in the 4th. I wanna see the backup qb for Greyson because we've offered him.
He’s not much of a writer, but I can’t stand Cowherd any more.

Keep grinding my friend.
Once again my bachelors is not in journalism like the people paid to do it. But I corrected myself in the next msg clarifying there and you're. Like your pal I just didn't read my post twice before I sent it. Anything else?
Nope. Good day sir.
