Lean pickings for National Day today.

You have at least two possible things to celebrate today, neither of which I could easily relate to the football thread. One is National Chocolate Cupcake day....maybe Bojangles or our newly discovered chef/gastronome Levander could chime in on this. We do play a couple of cupcakes each season, so there's that very weak thread.

The other is National No Beard day. Beards are so in at this point in history I'm not sure what to say, other than I like the feeling of being clean shaven. That extends to my current chrome dome Michael Jordan look, aided and abetted by nature of course.

Your thoughts?

Don't lose faith though. Oct 21 is National Pulled Pork Day and that is just around the corner. I know we can have a lively debate about the relative merits of KC BBQ, NC BBQ, Southern BBQ, dry rub BBQ from the Rendezvous in Memphis, and how people in Cali use the term BBQ for what we call grilling. But that's ahead and lets work on the now now.
