The Georgia Way is probably, IMHO, the best pitch Georgia has to any recruit. If these recruits were smart, they should know that football is not forever, but a normal life is. A normal life that consists of having a family and an established job and career outside of college. Nowadays, guys who go pro aren't even playing the amount of seasons that would have been played YEARS ago. Most players are now playing roughly 3-7 years before retiring. Do you have to work any after making that amount of money in the NFL? Probably not, but there are guys out there trying to look for a life outside of the league.

Plus the state of GA has so much more job opportunities than other states. I agree that the Georgia Way needs to be marketed way better. Hopefully it's working for athletes too. It would be great to show how player xyz only played 3 yrs in the league but because of UGA they are now working at a great opportunity.
