Welcome to our planet....hope your journey was pleasant from your Galaxy. You'll find that this planet has some great TV shows to watch and a wonderful sport called college football. Make yourself at home.
Ok, I'm lost on this one....who would the father of the baby be then? Unless the time that her and Jaime had their little passion moment laying there in the floor next to her son's casket a while back. But that was a little bit back wasn't it? Or maybe it wouldn't far enough back it couldn't be his...??
I thought Cersei was pregnant prior to bedding Euron. For some reason, I thought Tyrion knew when he met with her in private trying to convince her to help them fight the Night King. Didn't she and Euron "hook up" after the others left for the North?
It was just before the Zombie battle they hooked up, wasn't it? And again, I can't get it together on how far back it was when her and Jaime hooked up on the floor by the casket. It was when Cersei blew up the Sparrow guy and the cult people and Natalie Dormer's character remember? How far back was that? Could that be the conception and so that is why Jaime left the Amazon blonde and headed back south, because he knew that she is carrying his baby?
I think the implication is that the only way Tyrion would know would be if he had the information prior to leaving for the north to battle the White Walkers. Cersei didn't sleep with Euron until later when he showed up with the armada from the Iron Islands. Euron believes that Cersei's carrying his child but given the sequence of events, he may put two and two together and figure out that if Tyrion is aware of the baby, then it can't possibly be his.
Jamie and Cersei got it in last season at some point
Another thought - if the battle for King's Landing turns into a drawn out siege, then Cersei could realistically give birth before it's over. Imagine if she dies from delivering the baby that Jaime put in her, could be another way to fulfill a certain prophecy of the Valonqar.
Seems to me that the producers of the show (since they are now ahead of the books) are taking the easy way out with Daenerys. Turning her into her dad, and going to make her go mad in the head about Jon Snow and the Iron Throne. Meanwhile, Sansa can't keep a secret for more than 10 minutes, and rats Jon out (which might actually save him with the way Tyrion and Varys were talking, and with Daenerys now seeming to go mad). And just when you think Jaime has changed, he can't let his incestual love affair go. And so long Ghost, Jon might be trading you in for a dragon soon.
He saying that moment let Euron know that he's not really the father. The writing and pacing for this season has kind of suffered sadly.
...and then, to go into true “tin foil hat” territory, what if the baby she delivers is a dwarf like Tyrion?
Would almost be as if both little brothers are fulfilling the prophecy.
Spot on, when the source material ran out, they went from nuance and subtlety to razzle-dazzle and eye candy. Still a great show but not what it used to be.
I guess I'm not one to critique this assessment, cause I've never read the books, but I think the show has only improved in my opinion, over the years. It's seemed like to me that at first they was doing a lot of stuff just for shock value....lots of crazy incest stuff and always having Emelia Clarke walking around nude, and some over the top violence. After it started gaining enormous popularity, and gaining a bigger and bigger budget to work with, everything got more and more epic in my opinion. They started really developing the story lines where you actually cared about characters that you just thought were quirky and sarcastic like Tyrion, and then Dany went from just being a weekly boob exposure and eye candy to a real life serious character. Anyhow, maybe that's just a critique from someone who doesn't know much about the book, like I said.
Arya dropping in like a spider to kill the Knight King was terrible writing.
It was a nice kill, but would've been good for it to have an actual fight scene with her and the Night King to go along with it. Guess they ran out of budget.
