Great idea. As much as I love uga, and converselyhate all things Tech, Tech does do a few things very well.

What a sad little team whose Coach (Ge-off) is desperately trying to get noticed (404 Area Code, Waffle House, ridiculous antics during their fall camp and lifting weights on the sidelines before the Clem game).

"The difference is that the seats are assigned only at the stadium, making re-sale highly difficult." Am I understanding that correctly? You will buy a ticket and find out where you are sitting once you get there?

Tech only does this for the uga because they know how the family base is. If they done that to the other games ticket prices wouldnt be of over $5 for the 50 yard line seats lmao

It wasn't Tech's idea, they copied it. They have tried for years to figure out how to screw Georgia fans. Flash, if you want to make more money on tickets sales, get a better team. People will pay for a good product and Tech will not become ticket scalpers!

It actually makes a lot of sense and several pro sports teams routinely do this. Had no idea their athletic department was losing so much money. The ACC Network should really help them. Still, the Dawgs will be in the house! Go Dawgs!

Remember when Tech downsized their stadium because they couldn't fill it up. Guess what, they still can't fill it up. It will be full when UGA comes to town, because UGA fans travel, ask Vandy fans why was their stadium so red Saturday night.
