Our OL has gotten a lot of love from almost everyone, but they really need to earn it with play. Yes, they are huge and loaded with elite talent, But they still need to perform. Let's hope they improve with every game. Still not sure we can get a yard on fourth and one.

Maybe, Kirby, the reason the play didn't work the second time around wasn't because we failed to execute it, but perhaps because Vanderbilt ANTICIPATED us running the same play again. Maybe the next time, we do something different, even if it's as simple as running to the other side. Just a thought. Go Dawgs!

Yep, this upcoming game needs to show a lot of perfection from the 1st squad. We started off looking like a championship team, but finished off like a 15th ranked team. If this is going to be "our year", we need to start playing like it or we'll have some losses when our schedule gets significantly tougher.

Midway through the 2nd quarter the O line seemed to lose focus and never to completely regain the needed attention to details. Seeing our massive young men beat by the 'dores in short yardage plays does not mode well for the future.

Last year, we were a 3 quarter team. Many seemed to coast in the 4th quarter. Actually, we did not HAVE to play 4 full quarters cause we were always up big. Seemed to me players were conditioned, both physically and mentally for a 3 quarter game. Could this be why we lost to Alabama 2 years in a row? Hope CKS can fix this.

When we are able to protect the qb and are able to get 4th and one every time , then I’ll believe we have the best o line in the nation

The o-line looked like they thought they had whipped their opposition after the third touchdown. Many times when you let up, you can't get the edge back. I hope the lesson learned was "Never let up".

They didn't play like the best oline in the country. They played like an average o line for 3 quarters.
