We had the pbj thread, pecan thread, grill cheese, something else thread I can’t remember, etc debate.
Got a bbq gig coming up this Saturday.... slaw on q sandwich or not?
Personally don’t like slaw as a side ( there is a local joint that makes hot slaw that is legit and I’ll eat it by it’s self) but bros and broettes you got to have some good slaw on a good q sandwich in my opinion.
What do you think?

slaw on the BBQ sandwich is the way to go!!
No. I’m a purist, the pork should speak for itself.
Slaw is a side dish.
l can do both and enjoy them each way but a bro has to try a q sandwich with good slaw on it
Understood and agree, but in my opinion if it’s a joint with a good rep overall people should just try it once
Not a bbq sandwich but yes to a slaw dawg
Either way is fine, but I like my slaw to have a lightly sweet flavor.
yale bro... stop. In my opinion the only acceptable topping for a dog is either chili or bbq (outside of mustard and ketchup)
No slaw for me. I don’t really like slaw in general though. I have a pretty strict no mayo rule in life.
Interesting. Sweet like how?
I, personally, don’t like my slaw to have a vinegar flavor. More of a subtle sugar flavor.
Oh for sure scoot bro. Pretty much against any white sauce type of thing. Try it though and thank me later
Never had that before
Depends on the type of Q. Since we are all proper dawgs, I assume you mean pork shoulder (butt). For that I don’t like traditional slaw, but I do like pickled onions. Mustard-base sauce is a must.
Zestos has the type of slaw that I like. I’ve had it a couple of other places, but it is hard to come by.
Oh for sure a butt.... it’s interesting dawgatron bro how people like their sandwich. I would never think of putting pickled pinions on it
