image'World of difference' in the Jake Fromm Notre Dame will see this time around

It's time for Jake and the offense to show out!

The Dogs have not fared well, historically, in rematches (see ASU, Boise, Colorado, et al). That was under the old regime though. Hopefully we don’t see a repeat of that stuff. I think Kirby brings a higher standard and more focused mindset. Either way, it should be an unforgettable experience. Can’t wait! Remember to enjoy the ride, Dawgnation. This won’t last forever.

I think another challenge for Kirby is keeping the team grounded (enough) while simultaneously letting them get amped up (enough). Don’t let the game be bigger than it is. How in the world do you do that? I guess that’s why they pay him the big bucks.

This game won't be for the faint of heart. Dawgs are going to have to click in all phases of the game. Can't hold back, going to have to lay it all on the line.

@SAVY I think this regime has done well in rematches. Exhibit A: their record against the SEC east the last 2 years

I know Kirby has been downplaying this as "just another game", but this is what his program has been building to since he got here. It's put up or shut up time. If you want National respect and to run with the elite programs, you've got to beat Notre Dame in your own house. If not now, when? I think they have the horses to do it. Dawgs by 17.

One additional comment: ND has played two games. They definitely have players, but they've not seen a defense that has anywhere near the SPEED UGA has. They are 121st in 3rd down efficiency. Red flag. Defensively, they rank 120th against the run. Uh oh. But we'll see. Just hope Kirby doesn't get too cute if you know what I mean.

I have a feeling this one will go back to old school football. Control the line of scrimmage and run the football in the first half. Let those big backs work on the secondary, wear them out and Fromm and company will pick them apart in the second half.

Mike Griffith, I just saw your interview on The Paul Finebaum Show. Boy, you sure didn't hold back any of that Bulldog rah-rah about how our Dawgs are going to WHIP Notre Dame. You had a very nice analysis, etc., and I agree that UGA should win the game; however, please-PLEASE don't help fuel the Irish desire to come down here and pull the big upset by saying all kinds of things that can (and will) be viewed as disrespectful to ND's football team. They don't need any further incentive. Show respect to all opponents. If you haven't noticed, Georgia hasn't won a national title in 39 years and despite all our accomplishments during that time span, all it takes is for braggards to boast like you did on national TV today and have your comments posted in capital letters on the bulletin board of Notre Dame. Pretty soon, that 39 years could turn into 40 with Georgia's face all covered in mud. We don't want that.

"The best Defense is a good Offense."

ND has some good Offensive weapons and can move the ball and score points...

They will attack the defense--get mismatches and cause mistakes and blown assignments

and aggressive blitzing can be High Risk-Big Play gamble.

This game will come down to who can run and who can stop the run.

Mental toughness and determination will factor in as well. The pressure and spotlight is on Georgia...ND is a 14 point underdog.

ND has been in this situation before...we'll see how this plays out and

BTW... Gen. William T Sherman will be rooting for the Irish.
