Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Boston to Athens for "Scar" game
Heading down from Boston to Athens for the Oct 12 game vs South Carolina. Looking for tailgate options. Preferably something we can buy into. Doesn't need to be fancy, just looking to hang out with some Bulldog fans and have a good time.
Thanks

Tickets to the game or just tailgating?
We already have tickets to the game. So just pregame tailgate.
Thanks
Can we edit the Thread title for him, maybe add for Scar ?
Yup!
Can you stop in New Haven and bring me with you?
@mlavoie72 Id keep bumping this up from time to time. To keep it on folks mind
If you can pull a wagon I can jump in
Exit 49 - Pennsylvania 332; Newtown; Yardley
12:00 game. Was hoping for the 3:30 slot.
Yeah, same here but Scar didnt hold up their end.
Yeah - you and your boys got hosed with the noon kickoff (!)
Good news - you'll be extra thirsty when you hit Downtown Athens late afternoon. Fellow New Englander here...you guys will love it.
Minor PSA - Athens loves having a good time, but the expletives-per-minute is wayyyy lower than what you might be used to at Sullivan's Tap after a B's game. One other big difference: do NOT jaywalk downtown.
Otherwise - you'll spend the weekend wondering why you went to school at <insert your college name here> instead of UGA. Enjoy!
Ha. I love it. This is our 10th year doing this, all SEC schools. And we say the same exact thing every year.
Looking forward to seeing how Athens stacks up vs the other places we've been.
That's a great annual take!
What's your favorite SEC town/experience so far? (pre-Athens)
You never forget your first. Ole Miss, which was our first trip, was probably the best experience thus far. Actually, come to think of it, they played Georgia. The small town feel of Oxford combined with tailgating in The Grove...pretty hard to beat.
Alabama and Texas A&M were pretty good as well.
LSU was meh..the football experience was ok. We hit Bourbon street in New Orleans and then drove to Baton Rouge, which made it a pretty legit trip.
We also mixed in a trip to see UCLA/Stanford. Took the late flight out of LA to Vegas. That was pretty fun too.
Tennessee was by far the least enjoyable football experience. Weird coincidence..they played Georgia that game too, and got pounded.
Never been to The Grove but obviously a bucket list for any SEC fan.
Enjoy Athens!
Bumping this one last time. Noon game, so not ideal for tailgating. If anybody knows if a good tailgate, it would be appreciated.
