I'm stunned at the 24 point spread. The first half of this game will be very close, say 14-10 or 17-14. Carolina will come out fast and physical and why I don't know, but we start slow. Our depth and talent should allow a second half pull away, but they are better than Tenn. I'm call for a 31 to 17 or 31 to 24 type game. Go Dawgs

When SC only scored 20 vs UNC and 14 vs Missouri, I don't see them getting 24 against UGA (barring very fluky stuff or late game garbage points).

It might be close first half, but we will pull away like we did against UT. I'm thinking it will be something like 17-7 at half and end up being like 38-10 or 38-13.

I think the line on this game is pretty accurate. I don't think we will start as slowly as we did against Tennessee either on offense or defense (hard to think of 26 first half points as "starting slowly" but it could have been more). I don't think they will complete the deep ball on us like Tenn. did. The game will get salted away about midway through the 3rd quarter.

OK, I was with Muschamp until he said we have a "good punter." No we don't. And everyone knows it. The scariest part to me about Camarda is that the other punters on the team (walkons, I presume) must be absolutely atrocious as they apparently are not good enough to make CKS even THINK about replacing Camarda. His punts are too short or too long, and almost every one of them comes within a whisker of being blocked. Perhaps when he costs us a game, Kirby will do something about him -- but by then it will be too late. Go Dawgs!

Muschamp - "...and a good punter?"

Why isn't our good punter playing. When we need a long punt, Camarda shanks it. When we need a little touch to pin a team deep, he booms it into the end zone. Camarda is the most ineffective punter UGA has has in a long time. Not to mention he nearly cost us the Notre Dame game, with that 20 yarder that gave the Irish the ball on our 38 near the end of the game...

When he said we have a good punter you knew he was lying through his teeth.

I really think Carolina is catching Georgia at the worst possible time.

The Dawg's looked like a well oiled machine for the final 40 minutes of the UT game. Fromm is playing better than ever, and his receivers are getting better. The defense looks like the best of the Smart era.

Kirby will be looking to refine everything over the next two games to prepare for Jacksonville.

Agent Muschamp was right on point in his player analysis, and then he praised our punter. Obviously he is mistaken.
