I used to not really think to much of Muschamp. Especially from his Florida years. I thought he was just a little to hot on the sidelines for the head coach. But over the years his control has grown, and so has my respect for him. He's alright in my book.

Of course.... let the gamecocks win on Saturday and I'm sure I'll hate his guts again lol.

Will has grown as a coach. He left Florida with a great defense when he was fired there. Who knows, Lanning may get hired away and ole Will just might be available for a DC job somewhere, hint hint. He will be financially secure by then, and living in Athens making 1.5 mil working with Kirby would give him some peace. It's not if, but when at Carolina. 6-8 wins won't get it long.

There is so much love, it's a little creepy.

It's okay to have mutual respect and friends in this business. So, on game days though, they are mutual enemies and you must put friendships aside for three plus hours. After the game is over, become pals again until next time.

Can someone explain to me why do Head Football Coaches have so much security surrounding them after the football games are over? Do the Head Basketball Coaches get the same security after the basketball games are over? Most of the times it's State Patrol Officers that are on the football field guarding the Head Coach. Seems to me that's a waste of State Resources and money. Look at the picture above, is there really any reason for football coaches having armed guards.

Then there's the story of Muschamp and HC Chris Hatcher drawing up an offensive play on the board and asking a nervous Kirby Smart to go to the board and draw up a defense to defend it at Smart's first interview for a coaching job at Valdosta State. Kirby did as asked and when he was done Hatcher and Muschamp laughed and Will pointed out that Kirby's defense would work, if the ref's allowed him to use the 12 players he had drawn on the board. Obviously, Kirby got the job anyway and the rest is history!

You stole my thunder rgb. I predict in the near future that cwm is the dcoord at uga. Your points are spot on. He ends up with us for years and years. I’d love to see us bring in Hines ward and even Bryan McClendon. We won’t keep our rb coach long. He is an auburn guy and it’s a matter of time
