If you're wasting 90 minutes at Popeye's because you hate Chick Fil A, you may need to reflect upon your life choices.
What the he!! is wrong with people?
That was a brutal slam. What’s the saying... cash the checks your mouth is writing or maybe it’s your mouth is like a check into cash... frick... I don’t know... just don’t run your mouth
OT warning:
I can still remember the last time I wrote a check at the grocery store, roughly 10 years ago, and I could feel the hate emanating from the cashier and the other people in line. I had written checks at the grocery store my whole life, as had everyone else, but it changed at some point, and I got the memo that day.
Had a similar experience the first time I was in the car with someone who paid with a credit card at the drive thru window of a fast food place. Again, roughly 10 years ago. And I thought, wait, do people really do that? For the longest time everyone paid cash in a drive thru. You used a credit card to buy a new home stereo system, not a cheeseburger.
Now that I've caught up to the times and use a credit card for everything, even a $2 cup of coffee, it appears that credit cards are about to be replaced by Venmo and other virtual payment systems. Oh well.
As for chicken, I've never been to a Popeye's and doubt I ever will. I'm a fan of CFA, Zaxby's, and Guthrie's (back in my Athens days), but nothing was better than mom's.
Bet that would never happen at a Bojangles...just sayin'! ?
There is a pattern occurring.

Do you remember jangles bro? Bro was hard knocks on the biscuits. I remember coming to him about an issue with my large bo rounds not being large. Next day I was greeted with sir and my order was overflowing with bo rounds.
Jangles bro would take the kneecaps out
It was meant to be a good natured ribbing.
Didn't think it wasn't anything else.
I’m a native Georgian and have lived in Atlanta almost my entire life (except for the glory years in Athens). I drink Coca-Cola, I say y’all, and I dang sure eat Chick-fil-a. I did try Popeyes, and it was better than McDonalds, but I’ve had better customer service at a Walmart. I ate it, but even Peter denied the Lord three times. I repented, and I’m back in the cathedral of the chicken sandwich.
Ok Dawg Nation. My official review. Was on the side of town where our 1 & only popeyes resides & even though I wasn't hungry I noticed only 4 cars deep in the drive-through so I whipped in. I finally get up to the sign and notice that they have informed everyone that there's only three sandwiches allowed per car. So in typical fashion I ordered three, 2 spicy & one regular. I really didn't want to like these things but dang it they are fan-freaking-tastic. Come in foil pouches, big fluffy bun YUGE crispy chicken fillet, couple of pickles and a sploosh of spicy sauce. Dare I say better than Chick-fil-A?? Usually not a fan of the new-new but this was a spectacular surprise. Well done popeyes, well done indeed!
No one will ever match or better a chick fil a sandwich. But keep on trying I enjoy a change every now and then. **** a doodle do!!!
Easy savage bro. To each their own, but easy. Again why the sauce on the sandwich to make it spicy? Should be part of the breading in my opinion
One thing I like about Chik Fil A is the employees reflect something you'd expect to be an ideal in the industry.
Completely unlike that homeless, annoying talkative idiot that worked at Bojangles who thought peddling illegal narcotics to customers was a good way to put a smile on their faces.
