How about white socks?

I know we have much discussion about black jerseys. Here's a new request. I am interested in white socks.

It may be old-fashioned, but I happen to be a Georgia Alum who appreciates tradition. We all grew up with players sporting white socks as part of a fashionble football ensemble. A football player should wear white socks. As in the glory days of Herschel Walker.

How did the sock tradition change? And when did it change? And why?

I'm all for a campaign to bring back white socks in Bulldog football. Shoes too.

It's a known fact that a player is ten percent faster in whte socks. You can quote me on that!
