Georgia vs. Clemson for the National Champions
I think UGA will meet Clemson in the national championship game.
LSU and Ohio State are very good programs and im not taking anything away from them.
If you have ever played or coached football you know that there is a big difference between playing in a regular season game and playing in a playoff/championship game.
Ohio State also has a 1st year HC and 1st year starting QB in a high stakes atmosphere.
LSU is pretty much in that same boat with a terrible defense to boot.
There is no substitute for playoff experience and you cant over state the importance of that (ask Kirby).
UGA and Clemson have the talent, have the defense, and have the experience.
I think UGA has a good shot to win it all. If UGA gets past LSU they will have almost a month to get the offense in check. Clemson really hasn't been tested but i think there experience and talent gets them to the title game.
Should be fun....

Clemson may be the best matchup for UGA. If Dawgs get that far
I hope you're right.
They may meet if Georgia makes it. But the odds are it's in game 1.......not championship.
OSU wins out...... they are #1 (unless LSU wins out and that doesn't help your argument)
Clemson is probably #2. However, if Georgia beats LSU then their strength of schedule may bump them ahead of Clemson.
Georgia is #3 - if they beat LSU
LSU or Utah or OU is #4.
Don't see anyway that Georgia plays Clemson in the NC
My thoughts too.
It will be interesting to see where the committee puts everyone but as of right now that's what I'm feeling.
I can definitely see the committee making their own matchups and Clemson versus Georgia would be a good potential national Championship if the committee can swing it.
I still believe Clemson is the toughest match up for UGA.
Personally I hope Ohio St stumbles vs Michigan and gets in the CFP as 1 loss conference champ. That would put Clemson 1, UGA 2, Ohio St 3, and LSU or Utah at 4.
Of course that assumes UGA beats LSU in Atlanta but I honestly feel we match up better with them than either Ohio St or Clemson.
As stated above, if we beat LSU, we'll play Clemson in the first round in the 2 vs. 3 game. I personally think that Clemson would be our least favorable match-up. They play no one so they're always fresh, they're battle tested, they're balanced on offense, and they have a suffocating defense. I'm hoping that Michigan beats OSU this weekend thus knocking them down in the polls, then we beat LSU. That would likely move us up to 2, 3 at worse and we would play OSU in the first round granted they win the Big10 Championship. That way the Tigers can beat up on each other in the first round.
UGA vs Utah - Round 1 UGA humbles Cinderella from the Smack 12
Michigan vs Clemson - Round 1 Michigan will be on fire after taking down the Suckeyes and bullwhipping Wisconsin in the Championship game. They will squeak by a Clemson team that will not be ready for a real, live team with a pulse.
UGA vs Michigan for the whole ball of wax. You heard it here first. UGA beats Wolverines in the game NO ONE expected!
Ain't gonna lie, this would be awesome.
A whole lot would have to happen for Michigan to get in the top 4. And it just isn’t going to happen
GO DAWGS!!!!
My thoughts three. Hit me with some UV's too! 😀
