Love to get him. Hard to cover. LB can't cover him. So he eats up a safety on cover 2

It depends on what Theo really wants from his collage experience.

He can pick Iowa, Michigan or Penn State ( all teams who teams who compete against lesser talent ) and likely will never see even a conference championship, while watching Ohio St win the B1G every year.

Or he can pick Georgia, where they compete for division and conference championships every year ( against the best competition - the SEC ) and where he has a real chance at winning a national championship.

He can practice against and learn more by facing an elite defense every day at Georgia.

Oh, and the weather is much nicer, and the people too... GOOODAWGS!

The young man has a very tough decision to make. Jeff highlighted the key areas to consider. I certainly hope we get this guy.

    Breaking down each team:

    1. UGA We are an elite program . We're in the hunt for a natty yet again. We're lite @TE. We have CKS an he ain't goin nowhere anytime soon. (If ever!)

    2. MICHIGAN Great school. A history of producing top level TE's. An embroiled coach who might just jump back too the NFL before long.

    3. Penn State a top notch school who've also put TE's in the league. They have a potential coaching issue. He might be at another school come next fall.

    4. IOWA Great school. A very stable an well established coach whose not goin anywhere. Period. They have a solid rep for putting top level TE's in the league, regularly.

I didn't rank the team's in any specific order other than, well UGA is Always first! But seriously, I see this as a 2 horse race. Us an Iowa

Both schools enjoy having coaches that Love their respective schools and aren't seen as lookin elsewhere. Why does that matter? Stability. I get the sense this young man covets that. His family probably does too. Michigan an Penn St. can't say the same. Harbaugh is or has worn out his welcome an no longer is viewed as the prodigal son come home too resurrect Bo's program. Franklin is mentioned as bein the new coach for several schools. He's not long for Happy Valley.

So, it comes down too Monday. I doubt that was an arbitrary choice. We win Saturday, we get a call Sunday day sayin he's comin. We lose, Coach Ferentz gets the call.

Just my three cents, have a great day y'all and Go Dawgs!!

Well if he doesn't pick UGA, I hope he picks Iowa. We're pretty much guaranteed not to see him again if that happens because we know they'll always be 9-3 or 8-4 every year -- and they'll be happy with that. But I hope he picks UGA. Go Dawgs!

I wish the commitment date extravaganza wasn't a thing. I wish kids would just commit like a one star would. Announce it to the coaches, your family and current high school. No more ticket tape parades and multi-media exhibitions please.

Let's play football and beat the snot out of any team with a tiger mascot. Go Dawgs!

P.S. I hope Theo commits to UGA but my prediction is he will not.

why would he come to UGA, since Coley hardly ever uses TE's? If he does, I'll be shocked!

Do you really believe Coley is purposefully not using the TEs with our current receiving woes?

I don't see many passes going to out TE's, do you? You tell me, don't you think we should be targeting them more?
