- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

That would great! I wondered what would happen if Swift decided to come back... Will be fun to see how this plays out...
Honestly, it seemed like all the hay was in the barn for 2020 and it got a little stale on this thread. God Bless Zach Evans for keeping it interesting for awhile longer.
For those that are tired of the drama, I remind you the greatest Dawg ever dragged his decision out to Easter.
I don't think this kid is trying to do this. I think it's just happening. Cut him a break.
A+ gif!
Forget who floated it, but as we pass the time waiting for the UA game I'd like to pose this question to DawgNation:
Who would you rather have?:
OR
Essentially trading one more year of Swift for 3 of Evans...
For anyone thinking that the NLI will keep him a Dawg, just imagine the PR nightmare of us holding him to it. Society is turning more and more pro-athlete when it comes to this stuff. We aren't going to be able to force a kid to do something he doesn't want to do.
I'm all for wearing a DV as a badge of honor but bruh...what's wrong with asking a question?
You guys should relax!!!! Enjoy the gamenand the future Dawgs and rivals.
Nor should we want to.
This. If ZE really doesn’t want to be at UGA, there is nothing to be gained by forcing him to stay. Nothing.
Also, @razorachilles, I’d take one more year of Swift. Evans may very well have all the talent in the world, but Swift is a known quantity and proven leader. Evans is not.
Swift ain’t coming back guys lol
Agree. It's not like UGA has had a hard time attracting top notch RBs.
I agree with this take. I also don't think Swift is returning either way...it was just a question to pass the time until 6! lol
longshot and 99% sure it won’t happen but what if he and washington came up with the idea to crash washington’s announcement at halftime and both commit at the same time? they had been roommates right? maybe a midnight talking sesh turned to a change of plans?
Almost guarantee you, Saban would. He would make the kid show up and go through the hassle of transferring.
Yeah, I took it as a hypothetical. I’d be highly surprised if Swift returned. He’s had trouble staying healthy at UGA. His earning years in the NFL are probably short.
Y’all know Najee Harris did this same thing right? Just showed up at Alabama without announcing anything. Barring any surprise academic ineligibility I believe he will show up on campus in the coming days in Athens.
Agree very, very unlikely but would be absolutely epic
Evans is a BPA recruit at this point. We have everything we need to be successful at RB with Zeus, KMac, Cook, and Milton. It'd be awesome to have Evans, but I won't be pulling my hair out if he doesn't end up in Athens.
From TOS recruit analyst:
With the latest twist in the recruitment of five-star Zachary Evans (Houston/North Shore), here is what I have been able to confirm so far.
-Zachary Evans did sign with a program during the Early Signing Period. Our intel suggests that Georgia is that school.
-Immediately following that confirmation, less than 24 hours after that NLI was signed, multiple sources indicated to Dawgs247 that Evans had possibly reached out to other colleges. In that interaction, Evans made it seem like he would still be available to sign with them. We do not know the reasons for these actions by Evans, nor why or how he would intend to get out of his NLI. LSU is a program that figures to be prominently in the mix with him, even though it recently began pushing for Jahmyr Gibbs.
-We are told that at this time, Evans is still wanted by Georgia and the staff continues to work to keep him in the fold.
VERY complicated hypothetical. With whom would Zach sign? How solid is Lovasea? Can we get in on another 2021 RB?
Ultimately, I want Swift to go get paid. He's put in the time and he deserves it. That's the natural course of events. Kirby will be fine either way.
"Word is" that he's going to Fla. and taking Washington and Ringo with him.
🤣🤣🤣
