Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I think y'all over analyzing every word ZE speaks. Dude was apologizing to the coaches for all the negative media about him recently. Legit or not. He's trying to overhaul his image and being humble and remorseful for past actions is a good way to start that process. We don't want the image at UGA to be a negative one. Actual or perceived. Right now there's a negative perception of him. Heck, KS could have had something to do with it. He's trying to build an image. Thugs or selfish people tarnish that. I wouldn't be surprised if he just shows up to school. After all he did said he's ready. Deon's statement about second chances kinda seconds that rebuilding the image idea.
We won the Sugar Bowl last night!
We won Washington tonight!
Here's to winning it all in 2020!
Ringo, right?
ACT scores for December 14th, should have been in no later than the 26th (it takes 10 days typically for these to post online from the test date)...so this shouldn't be an issue. He is the only EE designated recruit believed to have signed, but not registered in UGA's system. Not saying its impossible, but seems very unlikely that he could enroll for Spring at this point...stranger things have happened...in this recruitment even.
Either way, I am glad the original emotional response of the board seems to have evolved into something much more supportive and understanding. Evans looked like the best back on the field tonight by my eyes; hopefully, things work out and he makes the kind of impact we believe him to be capable of having.
For anyone that was earlier today bashing Evans for deciding to push his announcement back, I think it might be time to walk back those comments and sentiments. Whatever is going on, it should be perfectly clear that pushing back the announcement was NOT his decision, it was UGA's for whatever reason.
Good post. Welcome.
Question: You got to say "thugs". When I did that the other day, it got "censored". Are you a foreign spy/hacker or something?
Any speculation on why UGA would have him delay announcing ? I can’t see how missing EE would matter
So basically that’s him saying he’s committed to UGA.. I mean if his NLI is in like it’s said to be other coaches can’t contact him anymore, or aren’t suppose to at least. So if his NLI is in & he spoke to Kirby just the other day then he’s 1000% a Dawg, & just trying to figure things out.
This board has been awesome today ! Took me a while to catch up on 250 comments -
The ZE news , wow - are we sure it wasn’t a whammy by Jeff to squeeze another 20 pages out today ? Lol
Wish I had seen the interview - if he was contrite and humble that’s a great sign
special thanks to those who posted screen shots of the vol-meltdowns! Keep those coming ! Hopefully they’ll keep melting all the way through a loss to powerhouse Indiana 😂
I really am now thinking Kirby is sitting on this one. I am sure Smart feels it is a serious decision to not be taken lightly. He is weighing the pros and cons for the program. I hope he chooses to give ZE a shot, another chance, because I personally think it will be good for him in developing as a young man. That being I do trust CKS will make the best decision for UGA! #GoDawgs I think we all owe both CKS and ZE a little more respect. Neither of them want to be in this predicament.
Dawg.
This has to take the cake for most complicated recruitment I've ever seen. Have no idea where this guy is gonna end up.
I didn’t like the line “ain’t gonna be anytime soon” only because that means we have to wait...
also, did he say, “everything going on with the coaching staffs leaving”....
is Dell leaving 😳
Felt like the announcing crew almost slipped that Evans was committed to UGA with an awkward segue from the interview back to calling the game. Paraphrasing here, but something to the effect of "it'll be 3rd and and about 8...back to Evans - with Georgia's commitment to Washington, blahblahblah". It was if they were unintentionally leading on that Evans was UGA bound.
Did anyone else catch that too?
20 years from now we’ll all be saying “hey, remember the Zach Evans recruitment?”
We’re living in interesting times, people
