Personally I think all the players missing the Sugar Bowl due to "undisclosed" reasons need to move to the back of the line if they come back next year. These young players frankly wanted it more than their more veteran counterparts. It will also serve notice to anyone who isn't 100% committed.

Apparently some or many of the players who skipped the Sugar Bowl were not committed to the G. Very disappointing.

As far as I know, only 2 actually skipped it - Thomas and Wilson. I guess you might be able to include Reed, but he did say he was injured and without knowing that he wasn't, I'm going to withhold judgment. Same goes for anyone else who was absent for undisclosed reasons; if they didn't say that they simply didn't want to be there for the game, then I see no reason to assume that that was the case.

No mention of the flea flicker - the one play Baylor Coach Rhule cited as making a huge impact on the Baylor defense for the rest of the game? Well, Swift is going pro, and should make a lot of money. Hope he comes back to visit and finishes his college degree. Go Dawgs.

Personally I hope that both Fromm and LeCounte (the QB of the defense) come back and fulfill their destiny from Kirby's first recruiting class to bring another NC to the Bulldogs and DawgNation. They will both bring the senior experience supplemented by some strong recruiting from the classes behind them to give us the best chance to win a title since 2017. Just like Sony and Chubb had to give it one more run and cement their status as Bulldog Legends, Fromm and LeCounte have that same opportunity. Sure, they can take the money and go to the NFL, but that will still be there a year from now. If they come back, they have the chance to achieve something worth much more than money - college football immortality. Win a Natty and become a legend. What's that worth?
