Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Mark Fox was noncommittal Thursday when asked if two of his players, Jordan Harris and Mike Edwards, would play in Georgia's season opener on Friday night against Bryant. Harris and Edwards both sat out last week's exhibition game, with Fox indicating it was discipline-related.

"They both have made a little progress," Fox said on Thursday, with a smile. "But I haven't decided yet."

By the way, there is no indication this is related to the stuff going on at Auburn, Alabama and Louisville, or anything like the Georgia Tech players who are being sat down for receiving impermissible benefits. It's not certain what Harris and Edwards did, but every indication is this is internal discipline, nothing NCAA-related.

As a high school basketball coach, I respect the heck outta Fox. He does it the right way. Unfortunately, that will cost us many big name recruits because we don't pay them off. I would rather have our program like it is than have someone like Bruce Pearl running it.

Agreed. Just wish he could find a way to coach and recruit well enough around those obstacles to still be in the hunt come tournament time.

I completely agree. I love my DAWGS and would love to see us do something in March.
