Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Hallelujah!
I’ve been saying this for awhile!
I mean I don’t know nuttin but just get on their recruits page on 247 and start going backwards and it’ll kinda become oblivious. /shrug
The limit up to 2012 was 28 so Bama accumulated at least 8 cfwd spots even signing 25. Early enrollees can be back counted so it is likely 8 or more of their 2013 class was back-counted (Bad Kirby 🤣), 2013 limit changed to 25 Bama signed 26 at least 7 cfwd. 2014 signed 24 so 8+ cfwd. 2015 signed 24 so 9+ cfwd. 2016 signed 24 so 10+ cfwd. 2017 signed 29 so 6+ cfwd. 2018 signed 21 but 22 initials so 9+ cfwd. 2019 signed 27 plus 2 transfers so 5 cfwd.
Note that prior to 2017 the commits were higher than signed as 1-2 NQ per year which didn't count until 2017
Imagine him and Travon Walker in 2021 lined up next to each other!
My 2020 guys that will be impact players in 2020 will be:
1) Jalen Carter
2) Jermaine Burton
3) SVPG
4) Milton
5) Ringo
6) Rosemy
I think the top 3 will all be starters/major contributors game 1.
Not disagreeing (though I don't see SVPG as a major contributor in week 1).
Can you identify another team in the whole nation (not NFL) where Ringo comes in to wait his turn? That's nuts.
Yea i just have a gut feeling SVPG has that "it factor" about him.
Milton & SVPG could get flipped and I wouldn't have an issue.
Milton will be our best back next year IMO, but I just put him lower out of hopes that Zeus will ball out.
Kelee Ringo could take either CB spot game 1 if he had come in January. The learning curve will be too steep, but I see him having a Stevenson type role/impact 2019 in 2020. Ringo & Stevenson will be every-down players by the end of 2020.
I really feel Ringo jumps some guys this summer. His skill set with his size will be hard to keep off the field. Him and Campbell will be the most polished corners on the roster. I know stokes is our number one. I’m just saying NFL ready. It should push guys like DJ, Stevenson, and Webb to work harder because Ringo is coming.
I though LSU would be a team Ringo may have the wait, but after looking at depth chart maybe not
I just think the Secondary is a tough spot for a freshman to come in learn the system and be able to master it to a level Kirby is comfortable with. Especially Kirby's system, and the fact that he puts so much pressure on the DBs being perfect. Stingley came in in January, and was put on an island (and able to hold his own) not much responsibility other than covering the man in-front of him, so easier to plug and play.
I agree to an extent. But look at the past few years. Campbell came in and started week one. Then this past year DJ came in and played a lot. There’s gonna be some serious playing time for Ringo
DJ was an EE.
Campbell was in a similar spot to Stingley 2019, thrown into the fire and was eventually beat out by Eric Stokes a 3 star RS Freshman.
I didn’t say anything about starting. I’m saying he’s going to get some significant playing time....actually nvm, you’re right. Like always lol
you literally said campbell started day 1.
Did he not?
