We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I dont know if there is anything to Grimes to UGA or not.
What i can say is, he isnt a DE. He would be an OLB in our system. (ive seen him play multiple games in person, very good athlete but doesnt have the killer instinct, relys on given ability and will need to work on technique and pass rush moves once on campus.)
Bama legacy and they passed, should tell you something. Based off who we have already passed on at OLB id be shocked here.
If Grimes flips, Tenn is the pick
I’m not sure he really fits though. He’s a WDE and is a bit light at 242 listed.
Dont we run big DE in our 3-4? Generally in the 270-280 range?
He’s more like our normal OLB size.
Anyone heard how Sedrick Van Pran-Granger trip to the accursed Gators went this weekend ?
I never saw confirmation on if Huntley even made it to Athens but word from the program now is he (Huntley) and Grimes are possible flips to the Good Guys.
That would certainly cap off an already stellar class.
Huntley would be exciting, Grimes is a solid 'meh' from me.
I'm not arguing with you but we certainly have come a long way when a guy with these numbers is just "meh"...
I just don't think he fits our system as a WDE, as someone else stated, our OLBs are his size, and I don't really like him for that position over guys we already have on campus (who may never see the field). I agree though, 6 years ago we would all be super happy with a guy like Grimes. All hail King Kirbs
This may be... or probably is.....much ado about nothing. Can't imagine someone flips to UGA without visiting.
But lets assume there is something to it......I'd be careful about saying meh.
He may or may not turn out to be a player.....but Kirby can certainly find a spot for a 6'3" 240lb athlete.
Again......I'm certainly not suggesting he's a can't miss prospect......no such thing as a can't miss prospect.
But there is certainly a great chance that he is anything but "meh".
Although I've done my share of yelling at the tv on which plays to call, or not call, I still put my faith in Kirby that he knows what's best for the team more than we do....we shall see.
Sic em
He fits the role Zy Walker was going to have before he decided to go to the barn
Both measure to the same size but play differently.
Grimes is an athletic OLB while ZWalk would of been an athletic DE.
Think he could play both especially with some additional weight
Seeing as how staff has brought in guys in the 6'3"/6'4" 220ish range to play OLB and had them add 20lbs isn't it conceivable that a guy already at 240 could add 20-30 lbs and end up being a good size for a DE?
FREAK IN THE MAKING!!
