Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Wow...small world! I lived on Soffer Place back in the late 70's. My first jobs were pumping gas at the Getty and bussing tables at Danny's Espresso. Danny's had a pretty good pizza, but it wasn't Pepe's!

We only got up here back a couple years ago but I’m not sure those places are around anymore!

@RPMdawg We always listened for the “Guthrie’s Q-quiz on Q-105” right before lunch. Trivia question winners received 2 Guthrie’s chicken finger plates and 2 large drinks.

I once won by answering “What is the back boundary line in tennis called?” This was before the internet, Google and smartphones where you couldn’t just look it up quickly.

I also won a Domino’s pizza by finishing the Flintstones theme song, “let’s ride with the family down the street through ______?”

I remember Classic Sub Shop on Baxter right across from Brumby/Russell. Ate there a lot on weekends when I wasn’t on the dining hall meal plan.
