    If I remember correctly, we had another linebacker named Smith (Roquan) that I believe was a five star out of high school. His freshman year he flashed his potential but was not dominant in the SEC. Hard for any freshman to do in the SEC. By his junior year the awards were rolling in. I believe he is now doing pretty well in the NFL. Nolan Smith will be just fine after having a year under his belt. Go Dawgs!

    Pickens is an elite athletic talent, but he has displayed some dirty football player traits. Would anyone be surprised if this guy has "issues" in the near future??

    Come on fan? The kid has a temper. Let him get to be a sophomore and show he has "grown up" before trashing him in advance. How mature were you at 18 years old? I'm not excusing his behavior at all, just give him a chance. His rear end might be tender enough from "the Kirby treatment" to remind him to keep his cool.
