Scott Cochran to UGA? But not as the strength coach? This would be quite the move for Georgia and Kirby Smart.

Well, the hits just keep on coming! GREAT news whatever Cochran's role ends up being....something tells me it will only help the program.

Wonder if he will be Offense or Defense ??

This is a big pick up for the Dawgs. It was well known how much Kirby wanted him to join him at UGA when left for the HC job. Since then, various other programs including Pruitt and Kiffin have tried to persuade him as well.

Bammer fans are treating this a inconsequential, and are stating he may be the cause of injury bug that has plagued Bammer over recent years

Sorry, but the signs of the Bamapocalypse are coming to fruition

Can't imagine he'd leave for some pidly role? Whats up here? Lanning leaving for head coaching position soon? At the end of this coming season and Kirby has a year to get him up to speed and groomed to take over THE DEFENSE? This feels big.

Well I didn't see this one coming.

    In Kirby We Trust!

Yeah practices should be interesting. Ready to see what story gets cooked up the week before the uga-bama game.

What? Scott is a "landmark" at Bama! Gotta be special teams at UGA? How does one segue' from legendary strength coach at Bama to on-field duty at UGA except special teams...but I trust Kirby's instincts and behind the scenes ciphering to know what he is doing! He's been after this guy since 2016. Welcome Scott!

Impressive hire for Kirby. Coach Cochran gonna have our boys running through brick walls before long! 😄

    GO DAWGS!

That is definitely surprising if it really happens. It just shows that Kirby never quits trying to get the best people, including coaches, players, administrative staff, to build the UGA brand. All I can say is Go Dawgs!
