All due respect to anyone currently infected or who have lost loved ones to this terrible virus-I am so sorry for you loss; but, they better get this virus under control before September! If football season is canceled this year because of this thing, I for one will be P oed.

I was going to post this earlier concerning the story about Vandy and Florida cancelling classes, by censorship won out. However, I did call it - Five to one classes will have been cancelled by the sixteenth., as the cases are expected to double every two days. Do the math based on the fact that, as of now, there are over one thousand cases diagnosed (how many are undiagnosed). Exponential increases are frightening. Two thousand in two days means four, in six, eight, in eight, sixteen in ten, thirty-two in twelve, and in merely two weeks, sixty-four thousand. A mere week and 1/2 later later there will be over two million cases. We must get our heads out of our... sand boxes, else we might be buried there. Take care, all.

I love football, and I’m really eager to see what we can accomplish with our new offense and stout defense. That said, health is more important than entertainment. If coronavirus is still a big problem by fall, it will mean that huge numbers of people are getting sick and a portion of them are dying. It would be a nightmare of massive proportions, and football — or any sporting event — would be way down the priority list.
