Unless we are getting the best players, our "national reach" could actually hurt us in the long run. When we are not pulling the top talent from the Southeast, our SEC foes are. The National Reach is all well and good as long as we are occasionally winning a National Championship. One Natty every four or five years will keep this train moving in the right direction; otherwise, will we have sacrificed our southern reach for the finicky national stage?

#3, #1,#2, #1: Our last 4 recruiting rankings. Best stretch we've ever had. National reach in recruiting is all well and good as long as you're getting results like that.

I recently read where Georgia had the largest recruiting budget in 2019 in all of college football. Couple that with the largest support staff in all of college football (also read that a couple of years ago), the results should not surprise anyone. Money buys championships or, at the very least, the opportunity to play at the highest level.

Coaching, find the kids who have received great coaching in high school. You can't go wrong with great kids, North or South.
