You are spot on, Timothy1952. The roster of talent this team possesses is unlike any other I have seen since Hershel's day. This UGA team is amazing. I have to agree, Dan Lanning is a big target for a head coaching slot soon. That is football....and Schumann will be just as good serving as his replacement. The UGA depth of position and staff is phenomenal. Kirby Smart is proving to be one of the best head UGA coaches of all time. GO DAWGS!!!

There is got to be a 2020 season before Coach Lanning will be offered a HC position somewhere. Hunker Down all Dawgs no matter where you are.

To win a natty in this day and age you need great talent AND great coaching. I'm excited about the staff Kirby has put together this year, and can't wait to see how well all these coaches work together. Lanning, Schu, Warren, and Scott have already proven they're elite coaches on the Defensive side of the ball. Glad they are all still here in 2020. On the offensive side, it will be interesting to see if the THREE former head coaches (Monken, Luke, Faulkner) can set egos aside and work effectively under Coach Smart. If they can, it's going to be a great season (please let it happen).
