Cedartown High rising junior CJ Washington picked up more than 20 sacks as as sophomore. He was named All-State, has an offer from his dream school in Georgia and works out with Nick Chubb.

    Sounds like a great kid who has his head on straight. Washington is the type of player and person that Kirby's looking for. I think after he looks around he'll realize in the end that UGA has the most to offer. GOOODAWGS!

    Explosive is the perfect adjective to describe his play. If his technique were better he would be unstoppable at the high school level. I would love to see him get to a high school which has better coaching. It is tragic to watch such talented players not reach their potential because of average coaching. Very impressive film and stats. He may be as good a running back as he is currently as a linebacker.

    It is fun to watch these young, talented players grow as young men and players.

    Thanks for the distraction from this pandemic. I have learned to depend more on the Lord through all of this. Don't ever take your many blessings for granted.
