Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This is Lucky. Rescued from a busy highway median during rush hour 10 years ago. We believe half lab and half great dane. Hence the name Lucky.
Best dog I've ever had. He came along while my family and especially me were having a hard time getting over the death of our 14 yr old black lab twelve months earlier and then the death of our 15 yr old yellow lab just 5 months earlier.
Meet Tex....our little dog. He was rescued at a Texaco about 7 yrs ago. Tex obviously had a difficult early life. The next day after getting him home he had to have surgery to remove rope that was attached to his insides somehow. Took Tex two years to finally get over being so scared and start enjoying life. A very smart dog.
I've never liked small dogs but I'll love this little guy until his days are over.
Finally this is Dixie. Rescued about 5 yrs ago. Dixie was running around with 5 Pit Bulls which were probably fighting dogs that either were released or let go. Dog fighting is pretty big in that area. We assume that Dixie was probably training bait. Anyway.....she ran right up to me seemingly glad to get away from the other dogs.
She was starving and very malnourished and we didn't think she would make it. But she did. And she didn't have heart worms. Miracle.
Thought she was a lab puppy but she never grew. Some type of lab mix.
All three are great dogs and couldn't imagine life without them.
Got a pic of the Campbell Cur? Im not familiar
Does your Heeler wake you up every morning.......whether its a workday, or not?
No offense to the other great animals posted here, but there can be only ONE...
My 3 Amigos. The two, what we call Golden Chows, were of a litter of 8 from a feral mother. We pulled them out of an old abandoned wood pile when they were just weened. Found homes for all but these two. The little white one is so mean we refer to her as the Devils daughter. She just took up with us and after 9 years still has not gone away.
That is the king of all dogs.....or dawgs
Sony
Mix of, looks like, everything. Dachshund, chihuahua, who knows what else. Found him in a liquor store parking lot trying his best to get run over. Dingy, beat up, oversized collar. Scared of everyone there. Took to me pretty quick though
Now I know what a "Velcro dog" is. DGD
Labrador Retriever
That leash looks like a freakin snake. Gave me the heebie jeebies.
Beautiful dog though. My brother had one that looked just like that. The dog made me give him a massage every time I went to my brothers house.
Just got a new addition to the family, meet Penny (yes, Big Bang). She is a 8 week old blue tri color chihuahua. My wife won't put her down.....
We have 3 Dawgs. Riley, above, is a Giant Snoodle who had one eye removed not to long ago and hopefully will not have to have the other removed. We also have a Golden Doodle (which is black) named Beck and finally a Shi-chone name Rennie.
Beck and Riley were named after Bill O'Riley and Glenn Beck OR if your a blues fan Riley B King and Jeff Beck. Rennie was named after Rennie MacIntosh.
Didn't realize my attachment didn't work. Still Don't apparently. I'll try again. This cloud stuff.
The difference between cats and dogs.
Dogs love the family being quarantined and never want it to end.
Cats are planning their escape
Black Lab named Kirby (after CKS). Love this dawg like my son.
Recently adopted this Golden Retriever named Rider. Big loving goofball.
This cat is the absolute boss of the household which is why we named him Jefe - also got that because whenever I am talking about UGA football and DawgNation to my wife I call Sentell Jefe
Momus Alexandra Dawg (Lexie), Boykin spaniel. My first Boykin was Rusty Eyed Dawg, 51 pounds of smarts and muscle. He loved to go dove hunting. Best dog I ever saw. He used to come to work with me, stay in my office until our lunchtime frisbee sessions. Many of my patients would ask to see him. Lexie is sweet, but has little interest for the hunt.
