    McGarity made the Richt to Smart move. He is a fiscal conservative and has boosted UGA scholarship athletics to better than a 3.0 cum. UGA expresses its desire to extend his contract another year...even though McGarity is 65...and he has accepted. Griffith: "He currently ranks as the second-longest tenured AD in the SEC."

    Schools are trying to cut costs to offset the money lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic, yet mcgarity is given an extension AND a pay raise..
