Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Dawg Toys
Football season, even practice can't get here fast enough. Until then it's been fun getting to know Dawg Nation. We've covered movies, music, pets, hobbies, even booze but would like to see some of your favorite grown-up toys...keep it clean.
Your favorite car or truck, boats, guitars, custom gun, dirt bike, home brewery, RC plane, hula hoop, glassblowing studio, you name it. Let's see what ya got.

I'm a Chevy diesel guy but have always wanted a project car. Never would've gone out and looked for a Rustang but ran across this 95 GT and the price was too good to pass up. Has the last of the 5.0L HO motors, been fun to have something to tinker on in the garage. It's a blast cruising on a nice day with the top down letting the wind blow through my mullet, blasting some Motley Crue....already been through a set of rear tires doing donuts.
I miss my toys. Eventually, I’ll get another dirt bike and bass boat. All I got now are projects and work. Couple of old ford dent sides to figure out what to do with.
bought this ole girl for a parts truck. It
it was meant for my my grandfathers truck
fell in love with the parts truck and drove it for a few years and now thinking about giving her some love as well. The paint is original and that’s my favorite part.
Outside of that it’s just my smoker which the pic is only half of it
Wouldn’t let me edit my original post... forgot to add that I recently added this “toy”
As the kids say nowadays the dealer even threw some d’s on that b... with a slight lift for the 35 inch tires.
My bows are my toys I guess...
Honestly, I don't think I own a single toy. No truck, no bike, no sports car. No boat. No fancy grill. No guns (other than my one shotgun). No big screen TV. No man cave. Never considered the question before, but maybe I've been depriving myself?
Georgia football is the closest thing to an indulgence that I have. I spend an inordinate amount of time here in the forum, keeping up with recruiting and talking to fellow fans, and counting the weeks/days/minutes until kickoff for the next game.
6.0 ls, stage 4 truck cam, 4l80e
1970 #s matching 350 and 4 Speed RockCrusher
Tell me about the Honda in the back
1967 Mustang with a 351 Windsor. Got it when I was 14 as a project car to work on with my dad. Sold it when my wife got pregnant with our twins and they guy that bought it made it into what you see now. He works on old cars and sells them when he’s done restoring them as a hobby and my in-laws saw it online and bought it back for me. Never thought I’d see it again.
Bro, you only live once.... UGA football/falcons/hawks/braves is it... but it has been known to let you down once or twice.
Got to have something to take you away from the bad times.
That's my most dangerous toy. 1970 with Chinese 140cc and clutch and 4 speed
I can dig it. Looks amazing!
Excellent! The paint and body work look great!
I got socks from my in-laws for my birthday. If you don’t mind, I may use this as a negotiation piece.... working on a bass boat
That's pretty cool @Muffingod. I mentor a younger man who restores old cars, rebuilds engines, the whole nine yards. My dad never taught me about that stuff growing up, so I send my younger son down to his garage to help him out on occasion. They both have a great time, and he has become a mentor to my son.
By all means go ahead and leverage whatever you can to get that boat!
Is that you and the guy you mentor, or him and your son?
That’s a great story and it has to be rewarding to see the time pay off not only for him but now your son is gaining something extra for your time and effort. Now the question is, will you get your son an old car of his own to work on?
