A fighting spirit and literally fighting are mutually exclusive. Pickens still has that fighting spirit but hopefully it does not parlay into literal fisticuffs again. I am pretty sure he has learned that lesson well. Coach Smart will not tolerate it again! UGA needs its #1 receiver now more than ever! Pickens has matured from what I am hearing. He is a fantastic talent...both receiving and blocking.....rare!

He's got a lot of Dawg in him. What if we had a bunch more like him? Hopefully he can lead by example this talented bunch of new receivers.

Pickens has displayed some dirty football player tendencies. Like fragrantly yanking the facemask of Debione Renfro, to get open for a TD pass from Fromm against Texas A&M. Its difficult to really enjoy a play like this because of his below the belt tactics. Hopefully he has matured.

They all cheat, do whatever they can get away with. It's war. Not twiddly winks. Watch most defensive back literally maul the WR on most every play. Every now and then the receivers fight back. They would all lead with their helmets and try to knock their opponent out if not for rules. It's why we have officials.
