Need Hamels to come back if they want to be serious about a potential playoff run. Best teams have a great 1 & 2 starter.
As far as Jackson, he’s just Jekyll and Hyde, one outing he’s great, the next outing he’s all over the place.
I am generally about as optimistic as a fan can be, but I'm afraid the Braves' season just went down the drain with that injury to Soroka.
Didn't look good. Looked like maybe Achilles the way he went down after planting and the excessive dorsiflexion on the right.
There goes the season.
As a Met fan I can tell you it sucks when you don’t have enough good pitching
I **** hate 2020
You should just throw degrom every game he is unhittable.
Crossing my fingers for the best on Mike. Didn't look good.
Not good at all
Sick to my stomach for him. Just awful
Yep, the year 2020 is like constantly getting kicked in the balls.
Alas, 2020...
Torn hamstring. Out for season. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...
It was his Achilles, not hamstring.
To say this hurts the braves chances is a big understatement, our starting pitching went from iffy to dog crap over night.
On a positive note Fried was great last night. Now if anyone else can get past the 4th inning .....
Thought Ronald finally showed some flashes of last year’s form. Hustling out of the box, patient at the plate, flying around the base path. It was nice to see for a change. It’s like he finally woke up.
Markakis!
I texted my brother when we were coming to bat- predicted Ozuna or Duvall would hit a walk off. LOL!
I picked the wrong horse but was cheering out loud when Nick connected.
We have a nice baseball team. Real shame we lost Soroka.
The investments in the bullpen are really shining through right now. And that's without Will Smith who will probably end up being the closer.
Touki looked really sharp tonight. If they can get at least 6 solid innings from him that would be huge.
I thought Frenchy made a good point as well in that with an expanded roster and a shortened season wearing out the bullpen is actually less of a concern than with a full length season.
I honestly thought a rotation of Soroka, Fried, Hamels, and Folty had a chance to be a strength back in February.
Good thing AA didn’t trade away the minor league pitching depth last Summer.
Dansby!!
