All it takes is to threaten to leave a conference. Especially the ones that bring in the big $$$....
Let everyone who wants go play do it, and just schedule a bunch of one-offs.

Contracts exist, they can't just walk away, and they shouldn't. These are coaches, not the ones who make such decisions.
Contracts don't exist now......Nebraska has spent MILLIONS on it's football program. They have every right to play.
Of course the Big 10 has every right to kick them out. OSU to.
Nebraska might be allowed to leave, it was a bad move to leave The Big 12 and they really don't add much to The Big 10. There is no way OSU, Michigan, MSU or PSU will attempt to leave though.
Maybe not coaches, but you can't count out the high $$$ donors. These folks run more about programs than most realize. Don't play, take the money away. Lot of butt puckering going on there.

That's true to a point... but if the top 2 or 3 teams leave it would cripple the big 10 not to accept them back. The big ten would try to save face by trying to punish the schools but since the conference canceled the season I would say the schools would get a "one year exemption" from the conference.
Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought I would be rootin for O$U or the Huskers, but here I am shouting out a big Lets Go! and Just Do It!
