You misread.......he was actually eating donuts at the intersection.
That's why the cops showed up! 😀
I was wondering the same thing - .2 over the limit. Not sure what that means in terms of being "under the influence". But lots of folks mentioned the solution. Hire a driver for Pete's sake. I know that he may not feel "rich" deep down inside - that may take awhile to happen - but he needs to learn it.
Peacefully eating donuts
FlemLo is one of my favorite youtube personalities/sports guys. Here I was shocked to see a video on Isaiah and even more surprised to hear about the instagram post after his arrest. I'm more than a little worried about Wilson.. any thoughts?
Man. After watching that video I’m kinda worried about IW. I hope it’s just a growing up process and that he gets through it.
Prayers for the man. I had the pleasure of meeting him and he is a very very likeable person.
All I know is, I'm not sure I would have survived my college years/early 20's if I had been under a spotlight like these athletes are, along with 24/7 social media.
I kept thinking through out that video that Isaiah could really benefit from talking to Ben Watson. Ben would be a great mentor and show Isaiah how to make good choices.
Too soon lol
Good video. He nailed it when he said the concern is primarily about IW the person. I’m surprised this is happening, I don’t recall hearing anything like this while he was at UGA. It’s entirely possible that the higher pressure of the NFL, being put into a new environment, and all the stuff that’s happening in our world has taken its toll on him. I’m 41 and have a hard time dealing with some of this stuff at times, I can’t imagine how I would have handled it at Isaiah’s age.
I hope he gets help and gets better. Then I hope he builds a great career. He seems like a good young man.
I've always felt that the NFL needs to take better care of these kids that become basically instant millionaires. When you give a kid that kind of money with no structure other than practicing and playing football it seems like you are asking for issues. They all need to have mentors to help them navigate.
It is possible that they did not have it happen this year but in every normal year they have what they call the rookie symposium which takes guys through a multitude of different issues that professional athletes normally deal with. Everything from investing tips to how to deal with family members/high school buddies begging you for cash. The obviously have industry professionals for the financial matters and respected veterans come in for the latter issues.
And not that it makes it right but the fact that IW was a first rounder and guaranteed around 10 mil or whatever it is will make sure that the organization makes every effort to give IW all the help/direction that he could want/need due to the investment they have in him.
Somebody needs to get a hold of him lightening quick.
They try to. They have symposiums to help them and advise them. Problem is they blow them off which I’d probably do if I was in that position.
Once again finding Isaiah on the wrong side of the news. Seemed he was very close to playing some meaningful snaps in the NFL and has now been put on the suspended list by the Titans for "Violating Club Rules"
Prayers for this young man that he can get this turned around and make the great ball player that he is!
What is this kids deal? Did he show any signs of being a complete moron while in Athens?
I'm sure while at UGA he had people watching out over him a lot. Not so in the pros.
Don’t understand. Call uber , call a taxi , heck call a friend, you can afford it. SMH
hope he gets it figured out
