ATHENS — Bad snaps, missed blocks and holding penalties signaled a great fall from the supposed “Great Wall” of a season ago. The reloaded Georgia offensive line struggled to get a push against Arkansas, a team that ranked last in the SEC in rushing defense a season ago. The No. 4-ranked Bulldogs rallied last

I don't know, they look to be pretty on par with last year's line performance with the same up the middle run results.

I don't care who is on the line as long as they protect the QB and open some holes for the Running Backs.

"New offensive line coach Matt Luke is juggling players up front in search of the right combination." Better get it searched. Auburn is searched already! Have not heard much at all about Luke. Trey Hill botching the center is puzzling. Now rotates with Warren? Get it settled. Ark. will seem a scrimmage compared with Auburn. Fortunately, Auburn's "weakness" is defense, while UGA strength is defense... so should match up with Auburn's strong offense. Must contain Bo Nix.

    GO DAWGS!!!

Seriously, for all the hullabaloo over UGA's offensive line the past few years, it seems that we're stuck in this same spot every doggone year, a supposedly top-notch O-Line loaded with 4- and 5-star recruits, who can't create enough room for our 4- and 5-star RB to gain a yard. It's EVERY year; remember the Florida game two years ago??? And every year, Kirby says much the same things about them? So what is it. If these guys play at even half the level of say, the University of Kentucky line, we're undefeated. But for all of their talent and girth, they just don't move people when we need them to. With the experience we have, you shouldn't have to rotate O-linemen like this, still looking for the right combinations. I know they didn't have spring practice but still, these guys ought to be able to play. And Trey Hill should be able to make snaps with his eyes closed by now.

Mike, you could’ve cut and paste from an article last year about “not getting push up front”. And who is up there in the middle? Two of the dudes from last year. Start Ericsson, move Hill to guard permanently. It’ll at least someone’s attention.

Just when the DL begans to start looking like a top-tier unit, the OL has now fallen off a cliff and continues to freefall. I'll just be darn.

It just shows that most 4 and 5 Star recruits are just football players, and no more gifted than most 3 Star recruits. THE OL has had outstanding recruits the last three years and no matter the OL coach they have struggled in the run game. Some of it is attitude, I don't believe they play with a certain "Junkyard Dawg Meanness". They commit two many holding and moving early penalties. Last Saturday against a weak Arkansas team, they couldn't get a push at all in the run game. If they struggle against Auburn like they did with Arkansas, then the Tigers could ROAR!
