Who will start this Sat against Kentucky? I myself would like to see JT Daniels.
CKS would like to see Bennet
I would like to see Jamie Newman, but he quit so I’m guessing the mailman will deliver instead.
History repeats itself and there is absolutely no way that Stetson does not start. We win the game and the team looks to be firing on all cylinders, but it’s 2-3 Kentucky we are talking about and not bama.
we are up on Kentucky 26-7 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Mathis comes in and all we let him do is zone read runs. We finish out the game 33-7 over Kentucky.
Seriously accurate
From Kirby Smartt himself.
Justin Fields... just to stir the pot...
some people just want to watch the world burn... :)
We needed another thread on QB! Yay!
We all know Stet will get the start tomorrow. Kentucky has yet to give up a passing TD in 2020, so their defensive backfield is pretty good. If Stet throws an INT in the first half, does Kirby pull the plug and go to JT?
I doubt it. JT is better than Stet if he's 100% but, in spite of tinfoil hat fan conspiracies that Kirby is stubbornly loyal, JT is hobbled.
That's what I guessed as well. I think we can also surmise that Beck isn't ready yet, leaving Mathis as the only viable replacement option if things go south on Stet.
I would like to know the true nature of JT's injuries at present! Cleared to play but doesn't. I understand the brace is gone as well. So, what is it? Why is Stets still out there? Why the "refining" QB teaching sessions mid-season? Mathis just cannot cut it either? What is going on? QB tosses three interceptions and gets batted balls all over the place and he is still viable? Ok, OL let him down and he had to "run for his life" I know all that. If he can fake a hand-off or two to the RBs, to keep them honest, UGA should beat KY. But FL?
If Mathis "can't cut it" wouldn't it be something to see him portal back to tOSU and be an immediate Heisman contender?
Will never get that info. Kirby will never share it....nor should he ever share it.
C’mon, you don’t think that Kirby has undying loyalty to a kid he had running with the scout team a few weeks ago?? Sounds legit to me /s
