Meanwhile, Richard Lacounte, who is slated to be a top tiered NFL safety, mans up and says he will finish the season with his teammates instead of opting (=wussing) out, like so many other "players" did. Richard, you are a DGD.

Love that our guys are getting some recognition. A bit disappointed in those highly sought after recruits and 5*'s that are not living up to the hype, a la Nolan Smith. Maybe it's the heavy rotation, I don't know. But the recruits we have been bringing in should be battling for these awards year in and year out. (And not just on Defense) Parallels are constantly being drawn between Kirby and Mark... something's gotta give. Trust in the new OC, let him run the plays, get players that fit the scheme, and if you just have to have players simply because of raw talent, like a Justin Fields, you adjust to their strengths. Our stable of Tight Ends have become a bunch of blockers... The Mackey Award should have a candidate from UGA nearly every year with the amount of talent we have there, but we don't use them nearly enough in the passing game anymore. Sad part is that we HAVE players that can make plays like BAMA does every single week, but for some reason we don't have the execution.... that last little part is ironically the biggest part. I know I went off the rails a bit here, but just frustrated (as usual) with the production this year. 3rd OC in 3 years can do that. Hopefully this year is a huge learning tool and we come back strong next year. Love Kirby, Love my Dawgs, Love the University of Georgia! GO DAWGS

We rotate too much on defense. We need to let the top starters play more. No one else subs out on defense as much as we do. Azeez would probably have double digit sacks in not then 9 if he played as much at UGA as he would at Bama, Clemson or other programs. This is what is causing us to not have people "live up to potential." You can't expect our guys to put up stats on part with 60-70% the snaps as other players at other schools.
