Saddened to hear he just wasn't "feeling it" for UGA the first time around. I pray that Gilbert is not influenced by anyone other than the Lord on his final decision. Best of luck to this young man wherever he decides to spend his next two years.

Sounds like Gilbert's left the team. Does he have to already be in the portal before Kirby can give him a call?
Can you imagine having Gilbert and Washington on the field at the same time...
I'm guessing when "he didn't feel it" Dawgs were assuming LSU had the edge and they went for Mckitty and Washington. Darnell at the time was ranked almost as high. I am sure we would welcome him back also hearing he really wants to be a WR so may make sense.
I dunno, I'm not thrilled at the whole "opting out" thing. I mean, LSU's season is just about done especially with their self-imposed no-Bowl-game (maybe because they **** LOL). I mean, all players are hurting by now - **** it up. Can you not at least finish the last couple games with the school you committed to?
